✨ I am Elva Yawen Si, a learning designer with a psychology, media studies, and technology innovation background. With a passion for leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences, I have made significant contributions to the field of learning and development through my roles at Harvard Graduate School of Education, Harvard China Education Symposium, Curriculum Associates, and FableVision Studio.
 
📺 I consider myself a lifelong learner who embraces a forward-thinking mentality and loves to learn through exploration. I used to help companies and organizations infuse learning design pedagogies, cognitive psychology, and human-centered design into practical applications. My specialties include ADDIE and backwards design, multimedia assets development, project management, qualitative and quantitative user research, and data analysis. My strengths are identifying user pain points, creative problem-solving and improvement, storytelling, managing collaborative cross-functional teams, and fostering psychologically safe communities. ​
 
🎓 I hold a Master of Education in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Psychology and Human Development, from Tufts University. I graduated with the Highest Honors in Thesis and was awarded Dean’s List honors.
